4. The Titans lack interior offensive line depth

The Titans dealt with two of their starting offensive linemen getting hurt during Sunday’s victory.

First, left guard Rodger Saffold went out with a concussion, and he is now in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Center Ben Jones then suffered an injury, but returned soon after.

With Saffold out of the mix, Jamil Douglas came in to relieve him, but Douglas has been awful this entire season.

With Kevin Pamphile having yet to play this season due to a knee injury, the Titans could not afford another injury on the inside. Now with Saffold’s availability for next week’s game against the Panthers in question, the Titans need to find a suitable replacement.

Many Titans fans are clamoring for the return of Corey Levin, the Titans’ sixth round pick in 2017, who spent the past two seasons on the teams active roster. He currently is on the Denver Broncos’ practice squad after being cut by the Titans at the end of the preseason, but the Titans could make a claim for him.

There also is the possibility of making a trade to fill the position, but not many names stand out as far as guards go. They may just have to hope that the people currently on hand can stay healthy from here on out and play efficiently.
