NFL Power Rankings Week 7: Titans collapse and bench Marcus Mariota
By Will Lomas
Pros: The Tennessee Titans defense is one of the best in the NFL and it is an absolute shame that great seasons from Harold Landry, Malcolm Butler, Rashaan Evans, Kevin Byard, and Logan Ryan are going to waste.
Offensively, Corey Davis and A.J. Brown looked good and if not for a bad OPI call they would have combined for 100+ yards on 6 catches which would have been half of the passing production on the day.

Cons: Let me be as delicate as I can be, but for the Tennessee Titans the season is effectively over.
Sure, they could make a run at an AFC wild card spot if they got hot but what is the point long term? In case you didn’t know, the Titans benched Marcus Mariota after the first two interceptions of the season and once you do that there is no going back.
So now you are strapped with Ryan Tannehill for the rest of the season or Marcus Mariota off the bench in case of an injury. Either way, you have no QB on the roster for 2020 and it is likely that a reset is coming.
With that in mind, the goal should be to absolutely tank, fire Mike Vrabel and every coach on the offensive side of the ball and focus on a rebuild. The goal from now until the 2020 NFL Draft should be building an offense to accommodate the next QB from the coaches to the offensive line.
The good news is, we can all watch Joe Burrow guilt free.
