The Tennessee Titans have signed outside linebacker Jamal Davis to the practice squad, while also working out a slew of other players.
The Tennessee Titans made a move on Tuesday with the signing of outside linebacker Jamal Davis to the practice squad. On top of that, Tennessee also worked out multiple players.
The news of the signing of Jamal Davis to the practice squad comes from Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.
The @Titans have added OLB Jamal Davis II to the practice squad and released DL Lyndon Johnson from their practice squad.

Davis (6-4, 240) entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Texans. He was signed to the Colts practice squad for 3 weeks in September.
Tennessee also released recently signed defensive lineman Lyndon Johnson, who was on the practice squad.
The Titans already have five outside linebackers on the active roster in the form of Cameron Wake, Harold Landry, Kamalei Correa, Reggie Gilbert and Sharif Finch.
The first thing that comes to mind here is that perhaps one of those players are dealing with an injury, but there’s no word on that yet. Finch was inactive in Week 4, but we were told he was not dealing with an injury.
Early Tuesday morning, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that Tennessee was working out wide receiver Quincy Adeboyejo, but it turns out the team did more than that.
Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the team worked out a slew of players, and not just Adeboyejo.
Titans worked out and signed Jamal Davis to practice squad, also worked out Quincy Adeboyejo, Saeed Blacknall, Joe Callahan, Kendall Donnerson, Taylor Heinicke, Tyron Johnson, previously with Texans and Bills, De'Mornay Pierson-El and Trevion Thompson

Here’s a list of the players and their respective positions.
Quincy Adeboyejo – WR
Saeed Blacknall – WR
Joe Callahan – QB
Kendall Donnerson – OLB
Taylor Heinicke – QB
Tyron Johnson -WR
De’Mornay Pierson-El -WR
Trevion Thompson – WR
As you can see, the Titans are in the market for a quarterback, wide receiver and outside linebacker, although they seemingly found their OLB in Davis.
We’re still not sure why the search for a wide receiver is necessary, as the Titans have five on the active roster and one on the practice squad. Perhaps there’s an injury at the position, or maybe the Titans are looking for special teams help.
The search for a quarterback makes more sense at the moment. Quarterback Logan Woodside, who was on the practice squad, suffered an injury early in the season and the Titans could be looking for a replacement.
