What are experts predicting for the Tennessee Titans’ Week 2 game with the Indianapolis Colts?

We are just days away from Week 2 of the NFL season and experts have made their picks for the divisional matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts.

Prior to the Titans’ Week 1 blowout win of the Cleveland Browns, it was safe to say experts mostly had the Browns winning, with a few exceptions here and there. Those experts who were the exceptions looked like geniuses, as Tennessee rolled in Cleveland.

So, what is the consensus among experts this week? Are the Titans looking better with what looks like a game they should win on Sunday against the Andrew Luck-less Colts?

Let’s find out.

  • Mike Golic (ESPN): Titans
  • Trey Wingo (ESPN): Titans
  • Dan Graziano (ESPN): Colts
  • Louis Riddick (ESPN): Colts
  • Seth Wickersham: Titans
  • Gregg Rosenthal (NFL.com): Colts (33-30)
  • Pete Prisco (CBS): Titans
  • Will Brinson (CBS): Titans
  • Ryan Wilson (CBS): Titans
  • Jason La Canfora (CBS): Colts
  • Tadd Haislop (Sporting News): Titans (27-24)
  • Vinnie Iyer (Sporting News): Colts (23-20)

So as you can see, the Titans are getting the overall edge here over the Colts, but not by a ton. We would have expected the Titans to get the vast majority of the love, however the Colts do have some supporters.

And no, that is not a typo for NFL.com’s Gregg Rosenthal. He believes the Jacoby Brissett-led Colts are going to score 33 points on this Titans defense one week after it made Baker Mayfield and the Browns look silly.

Can someone please explain this media love affair with Brissett? His career QB record is 5-13 and he’s done nothing in this league.

Can you imagine if Marcus Mariota’s career record was that bad? We’d never hear the end of it.

Of the 10 ESPN experts in total to make picks, seven of them have the Titans winning. As for CBS, their experts are much more split, with the Titans and Colts each being picked four times to win.

Next. Dolphins players the Titans should call about for trade. dark

We’ll find out who was right on Sunday.
