NFL experts made their picks for the Tennessee Titans vs. Cleveland Browns game on Sunday, and most experts are picking the Browns to win in Week 1.

If you take the word of NFL experts around the football world, the Tennessee Titans don’t stand much of a chance to beat the Cleveland Browns in Week 1.

When taking a look at expert picks in totality, the pick is overwhelmingly the Browns over the Titans, as the Browns hype train has every car filled to the brim with believers.

While the vast majority are taking the Browns, there are some dissenters from the popular opinion that see the Titans going into Cleveland and grabbing a win.

Let’s take a look at some individual picks from experts at different media outlets.

  • Mike Golic (ESPN): Browns
  • Louis Riddick (ESPN): Browns
  • Trey Wingo (ESPN): Browns
  • Dan Graziano (ESPN): Titans
  • Gregg Rosenthal (NFL.com): Browns (23-20)
  • Pete Prisco (CBS): Browns (23-20)
  • Will Brinson (CBS): Titans
  • Ryan Wilson (CBS): Browns
  • Tadd Haislop (Sporting News): Browns (17-13)
  • Vinnie Iyer (Sporting News): Browns (24-13)

As you can see, we were able to find a few people who are picking the Titans, but the Browns are definitely the trendy choice here.

Of the 10 experts to make picks for ESPN, eight of them take the Browns. Seth Wickersham, who isn’t listed above, joins Dan Graziano as someone who likes the Titans this week.

For CBS Sports’ picks, seven of the eight experts are taking the Browns, with Will Brinson standing on the Titans hill alone.

This certainly isn’t surprising.

We expected the Titans to roll into Cleveland as the underdogs in the eyes of most experts — especially considering this is a road game for Tennessee — because the Titans have been overlooked all offseason long.

We’ll know soon enough who was right and who was wrong, with the Titans and Browns set to square off on Sunday, September 8th, at 12 p.m. CDT.
