New York Jets. 25. team. 30. . . Previous: 19th

Are we sure that Sam Darnold is good? I mean, he wasn’t actively bad on Sunday but against a team without a ton of proven defensive talent, Darnold tried to dink and dunk his way down the field.

He actually threw the ball to Jamison Crowder a whopping 14 times. The crazy think about that is that he didn’t finish with 100+ yards despite getting all of that volume, and I can’t think of a better way to bring up why it doesn’t mean anything to me that he had a good day from a completion percentage standpoint.

Aside from him, Le’Veon Bell was underwhelming and Robby Anderson didn’t do anything special either.

So now you have big name players not making big plays, and a quarterback supposedly ready to ascend. Combine that with a defense that really doesn’t scare you outside of Jordan Jenkins, Quinnen Williams and C.J. Mosley.

I don’t know, I am not impressed at this point and they are going to have to prove it.
