You know the name, you hate the name, but this is the most dangerous man that the Tennessee Titans offense will have to contend with.

Do you remember when Indiana Jones says his famous, “Why did it have to be snakes?” line, well that is how Tennessee Titans fans should feel when they hear the name Watt.

This time they don’t have to contend with 30 year old lineman from Houston, it is his little brother who is quickly becoming one of the best young pass rushers in the NFL.

Pittsburgh Steelers EDGE, T.J. Watt has 20 sacks in his two years in the NFL, including a 13 sack campaign in 2018.

Most people didn’t really take note of this because the team was quickly unraveling at the end of the season with potential Hall of Famers Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown clearly at odds.

On top of that, the Steelers missed the post season all together, so you would be forgiven if you missed Watt’s three-game sack streak against the Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots.

Unfortunately for the Tennessee Titans, Watt looks like he is every bit the same guy this year. If you need proof, check out how he embarrassed Mitchell Schwartz last week in the game vs Kansas City.

This does seem like the unstoppable force meeting the immovable object with T.J. Watt lining up primarily against the right tackle. Unlike Schwartz, Jack Conklin has looked good playing right tackle this preseason.

PFF agrees that T.J. Watt won’t have as easy of a time this week because he will be playing their OT1 instead of their OT126.

However, I am interested to see if the Steelers try to move T.J. Watt around and have him attack Dennis Kelly. Either way, Watt will have the speed advantage which means that both tackles will have to do a good job getting their hands on him early while also protecting from countermoves inside.

Devin Bush has looked good, but if both play I’m much more worried about Watt getting a clear path to the quarterback.
