Tennessee Titans defense: 7 who need to prove something vs Philadelphia Eagles
By Will Lomas
Amani Hooker, S
Right now the 2019 draft class for the Tennessee Titans looks so promising.
Despite a small tweak A.J. Brown is getting rave reviews for his development in the playbook and knowledge of the game, which is something Mike Vrabel doesn’t give out easily.
Combine that with his work ethic on the field where he goes out and catches balls after practice while working with Corey Davis and I feel pretty confident about his chances at success.
Jeffery Simmons looks like a monster on the practice field and has all the accolades and promise in the world once he is healthy.

Nate Davis may actually start at right guard for the Tennessee Titans at some point this season, and it seems like it could be sooner rather than later.
However, the one player getting the most 1st team reps on the team is apparently Amani Hooker who has been used in some three safety packages (I’m guessing either heavy nickel or heavy dime packages) with the first team defense.
On top of that, he is being looked at as a punt returner and I believe he has practiced some as a slot cornerback.
If he can just do any one of those things he will be active on gamedays this fall, but if he can do more than that he is going to be a name we all learn quickly. Keep an eye on him and where he lines up in this game.
