Interior defensive line: 11th

Hi, I would like to remind you that Jurrell Casey is one of the best defensive tackles in football and has been for the last half decade or so.

With that out of the way, let’s talk about other reasons why the Titans defensive line is so high on this list.

I think they get a bump for what Jeffery Simmons could be, which is fair. If he comes back for Week 11 and plays at 80% of what we saw from him at Mississippi State then you are getting one of the better DTs in the NFL right off the bat.

More from Titan Sized

A sleeper at the position is Brent Urban who has been doing some really nice things in camp and is climbing up the depth chart as a potential starter next to Jurrell Casey when the season opens up.

Going even deeper, it looks like Matt Dickerson may have a chance to make this roster and he was one of the guys I liked during the preseason last year. Now, he wasn’t one of the guys I thought could be an above average player for the Tennessee Titans, but he was someone that I thought would have a role on a defense.

If DaQuan Jones can take a step forward and be the guy it looked like he might be before his injury in 2017, the Titans second biggest weakness from 2018 could be one of their better units.
