Tennessee Titans notes from Day 7 of training camp.

The Tennessee Titans held their seventh training camp of the preseason, and there was a lot to focus on today.

From injury updates to new offensive line combinations and Corey Davis leaving early, there is a lot to cover so let’s just jump right in.

Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown continue to rest and recover

I’ll say it again, but the most important thing about the preseason is that you get your starters to Week 1 healthy and game-ready.

Based on the maintenance days that Mike Vrabel has handed out to the other Tennessee Titans, it looks like he is taking to heart the rash of injuries he had to deal with throughout the regular season last year.

While he is ultimately being cautious with Henry, it is A.J. Brown that concerns me the most. Brown was probably going to be a starter if all things were equal, but now I think these seven practices in the preseason are going to set him back weeks in the regular season.

Ultimately the Titans probably have the depth at WR to survive this considering how great Adam Humphries has looked, however it is not ideal.

The coaching staff is doing their best to keep him focused and mentally engaged in practices and he is doing everything right on and off the field. However, chemistry between Marcus Mariota and Brown will decide when he gets on the field in 2019.
