2. Donald Penn LT

Taylor Lewan has actually said before (on Bussin with the Boys) that he respects Penn because of how strong he is and how well he plays tackle in the NFL.

Penn was with Oakland and was doing really well, continuing a possibly underrated career. However, he was part of the “past” for Jon Gruden and we have seen what Gruden does with players he didn’t pick.

More from Titans News

Despite the massive flaws 2nd year tackle Kolton Miller has, Penn was released before the preseason.

If you are looking for a plug and play left tackle Penn is your guy on the open market right now. The biggest question with him is age (36), but the Tennessee Titans only need him for a month, then he can take a nice long rest until they need him again.

It is never good to sign a player with the express intent of keeping him from another team, but it would be a really solid move to land Penn in free agency before the Houston Texans or Cleveland Browns look at their rosters and realizes they don’t have NFL caliber tackles.
