3. Jared Veldheer LT

It hasn’t been that long since Veldheer was considered one of the better starters at left tackle in the NFL.

When the Arizona Cardinals were at the peak of their power in the NFC, Veldheer was part of an offensive line that allowed the Bruce Arians offense to explode.

It seems like forever since the Legion of Boom and the Cardinals were duking it out for NFC West supremacy, but really that was only three years ago.

Despite the team falling off of a cliff, Veldheer was actually pretty well regarded until he decided to ship out to Denver to play out his final season.

It looked like Veldheer may make another go at it when he signed with the New England Patriots this offseason, but he retired before the 2019 NFL Draft.

If Mike Vrabel and Jon Robinson call their friends with the New England Patriots and everything checked out medically with Veldheer (which I am sure it did or else why even offer him that contract) and if they can convince Veldheer to come back for one more payday that should only see him play 4 games, that is a win for both sides.
