Tennessee Titans players disrespected by Madden 20

Rodger Saffold: 83
Look, I am not going to get too deep into why Saffold should be higher. You can make interior OL play fit any sort of narrative you want to with a few clips, but I can tell you that there is no way that Saffold isn’t as good as Andrew Norwell.
Saffold has a huge body of work where he has been an impact player on the offensive line. You can see the players next to him simply do better when he is there compared to when other linemen replace him, which is just about as good of an indicator as you can get inside unless you want to really pour over the film.

Norwell didn’t look outstanding when he was healthy with the Jacksonville Jaguars and you could argue that the only reason he played any better when he returned was because teams could pull off the gas knowing that as soon as they had 17 points on the board the game was basically over anyway.
The biggest takeaways from Jacksonville last year was the lack of consistency and big plays from Leonard Fournette and the implosion of Blake Bortles. Both of those can be at least partially attributed to the offensive line.
Expect to see big things from Saffold this year and expect EA to quietly change that rating.
