1. Nate Washington

Who else could it be right? Until someone does something great, Nate Washington has to go down as the Tennessee Titans best receiver of the last decade and probably by a wide margin.

Whether he was playing with Jake Locker, Kerry Collins, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Charlie Whitehurst, Vince Young, Matt Hasselbeck, or Rusty Smith, Nate Washington gave 100% effort and did everything he could to make his quarterbacks look good.

More from Titan Sized

During his time with the Titans he was the Titans deep threat, their YAC guy, their best route runner, best leader, best mentor, and really stood out in any positive way that you could want.

His touchdown catch vs the Detroit Lions rivals any catch I have seen from a Titans player before or sense. You can include the Kenny Britt touchdown catch vs the Arizona Cardinals or the Corey Davis overtime TD catch vs the Philadelphia Eagles, but there it is nearly impossible to argue that this catch isn’t the best in Tennessee Titans history.

Right now Nate Washington is currently with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a coach, but there is a chance he won’t be tied down there long. There are few things I would like to see as much as I would like to see Washington end up on the Titans coaching staff as a WR coach in the next few years.

Maybe he can start as an assistant WR coach first, but somehow the Tennessee Titans need to get him in the door to help the young receivers absorb whatever he had on Sundays that made him such a joy to watch during his time with the Titans.

Who knows, if everything goes well in Tampa but they just don’t have the numbers to keep him, maybe he does end up in Nashville after some kind words from GM Jon Robinson’s friends in Florida.
