Tennessee Titans 53-man roster projection: July 2
By Will Lomas
Just missed the cut
Cam Batson is someone that a lot of people really like from last year and maybe I am just down on him for no reason. What scares me the most is that last year you could tell that the height difference between he and the other Titans receivers was something that Marcus Mariota struggled to adjust to on quick passes.
That and hurting the team badly as a punt returner really make it hard to figure out where he lands on this roster.
Parker Hesse is getting a lot of attention as a guy who could be a Mike Vrabel guy. What I mean by that is a versatile, jack-of-all-trades kind of player who lives on special teams and as a situational offensive and defensive player.

I haven’t spent enough time watching him, but until that stands out in practice I am less inclined to keep him on the roster.
Jeremy McNichols and Daylen Dawkins both have a chance to take over the RB3 or RB4 spots for the Tennessee Titans, but I just don’t see it. You have a chance at a cheap, productive, young, athletic running back in Barnes just take that.
Matt Dickerson is someone I really want to see in the preseason. I think that he has a real chance to make the roster at a weak position group.
I have always been partial to Josh Kalu, I couldn’t find a way to get him on the roster with that talented depth at DB though. Same with Kenneth Durden.
