Round 4, pick 121: Damien Harris RB, Alabama

Day 3 for Jon Robinson seems to be about players who can help on special teams and hopefully turn into starters down the road. He has taken chances on guys like Dane Cruikshank, Jayon Brown, Tajae Sharpe, LeShaun Sims, and Aaron Wallace. Some of those have worked out really well and some haven’t.

Harris is a really talented running back who has never seemed to have issues with splitting touches or doing the dirty work. With Dion Lewis and Derrick Henry both potentially gone after this year, you don’t want to be in a position where you have no one at running back.

In year one Harris can stay active as a special teams player where he was actually pretty good in college and he can get a handful of snaps on offense per game as he gets adapted.

With any luck the Titans will get someone who at worst is a special teams player and at best is a starting caliber running back.

Round 5, pick 157: Oli Udoh OL, Elon

Ta-dah! Here is your brand new right guard Tennessee Titans fans! Well, maybe not.

Udoh is a moderately athletic offensive lineman who has the looks of an offensive lineman that just needs some seasoning. The Titans can go into the 2019 NFL season with Corey Levin starting at center and Ben Jones starting at right guard, with the contingency plan being Kevin Pamphile.

Udoh gives the Titans someone with the frame to line up anywhere on the offensive line and allows them to develop him into a potential starter while providing short term depth.

Round 6, 188: Jimmy Moreland CB, James Madison

Moreland is an undersized cornerback with good athleticism but amazing production. He fits the LeShaun Sims, Kalan Reed mold that Jon Robinson has used with late round draft picks and he has the upside to potentially develop into a good slot cornerback.

If he can get involved on special teams it would help the Titans keep him active and potentially use him as a utility defensive back when they get in pinches.
