Defensive line: 7

This is the deepest group in terms of actual players that could start for the Tennessee Titans next year.

Of course, this list has to start with Ndamukong Suh. The mercenary DT is one of the best run stuffers in the NFL and he is pretty much a lock for 5+ sacks. He is going to cost a lot of money and you probably only get him for a year, but if he has a great year you can either franchise tag him, re-sign him or let him walk and get a comp pick.

More from Titan Sized

Right behind him is Mo Wilkerson who has the size to play inside but he is someone that I think could line up anywhere on the front (except EDGE). He has true impact potential, but like Suh he is probably going to cost a lot.

Tim Jernigan is another guy I really like. Depsite not having huge size he is a great run defender that can get to the QB as well. He would fit next to Casey in the Titans 4-man line looks and could handle the nose tackle role if they were more aggressive this year.

Two years ago, Kerry Hyder had 8 sacks and looked like he was going to be an interesting hybrid piece in that defense in Detroit. However, he has struggled with injuries since and really doesn’t seem to have any sort of market. I wonder if he is a hybrid that the Titans look at.

Darius Philon, Danny Shelton and Corey Liuget all have pretty obvious fits on the roster and should be considered in the fringe 2nd/3rd wave.
