Skill positions: 5

This is a position where most of the big names were spoken for by the official start of free agency. However, if you squint there are still some players that make sense for what the Tennessee Titans need.

If the Titans wanted to try to get cheaper at running back, or to get someone on the field with a skill set that is a little more specialized two guys that are floating around are Jay Ajayi and T.J. Yeldon.

While Ajayi has the potential to be an actual all around threat when healthy, Yeldon is more of a slasher but would fit well in this offense behind Derrick Henry.

At tight end, the only name that intrigues me a little is Maxx Williams. He is solid at everything, but really not spectacular at anything. However, with a coaching staff built to help TEs he is the sort of upside player who could really develop in this environment, especially when you consider that he is just 25.

Wide receiver is thin, but not as thin as you would think. The Titans have their WR1 spot filled and their SWR spot is nailed down as well, now all they really need is another boundary WR.

Do you want a refined player? If so then Pierre Garcon is a savvy veteran who has the ability to start while your younger guys sit and learn. If they can’t beat him out by the end of the year then you know you have the wrong young guys.

If you want speed, then someone like Mike Wallace is still out there. Sure, his best years are probably behind him and that usually affects deep threats quickly, but in the two seasons before his injury last year he had just under 1,800 yards and 8 TDs.
