CBS: 3rd (Last week 5th)

"“If Marcus Mariota can play like he did against the Eagles, they will be a playoff team. It’s that simple. “"

Wow. It is weird to see a diamond in the middle of all of this garbage around the national media.

The analysis is spot on, if Mariota can have a 3:1 TD:INT ratio against one of the best defenses in the NFL then why can’t this team win 10+ games? They already have a top-5 defense in the NFL, so if the offense plays this well then they absolutely are playoff bound.

It all comes down to this in these power rankings.

A. Do you think the Jaguars are good?

B. Do you think the Eagles are good?

C. Do you believe that you are what your record says you are?

If you answer yes to any or all of these questions, then the Titans are a top-5 team in the NFL. I think the problem is some people are just too afraid to admit they were wrong because of one freak 7-hour game on the road in Miami where the Titans lost Marcus Mariota, Delanie Walker and Taylor Lewan.

If you admit that week one was weird and that it was kinda fluky, then you can see that this team is 3-0 in the last three weeks with wins over two teams everyone agrees are top-10 teams, and the other win was when they had Gabbert in.

I don’t know how you even argue against it at this point.
