The Tennessee Titans are for real.

In a month’s time, the Tennessee Titans have gone from laughing stock, to fluke team and now maybe into a real threat in the NFL.

No doubt about it, the win against the Philadelphia Eagles wasn’t an easy one. It took all of 4 quarters and then 9:45 in overtime, but the Titans came out on top.

It wasn’t because of a trick play, a botched snap, an injured star on the other team, or anything else you can knock them for. The Titans lined up against the reigning NFL Super Bowl Champion Eagles and they beat them.

So now, at 3-1 what do we think about the Titans? With a healthy Marcus Mariota, the offense clicked especially in big moments. Accounting for 3 TDs, a 70% completion rate and nearly 400 total yards, Mariota showed again that he is a franchise QB.

Defensively, the Titans gave up yards and some points but very little came unearned. Two FGs were basically stolen when Mariota threw his lone interception before half, and then again after a 40-yard punt return.

Aside from that, the ugly Malcolm Butler coverage bust showed up again for a long touchdown while Alshon Jeffery took advantage of Adoree Jackson and Logan Ryan both missing a play and beat LeShaun Sims for a TD.

However, it was a coming out part for Harold Landry who had a TFL on a screen and a huge strip sack that turned into crucial points for the Titans. He looks every bit the star that we thought he would be when he was drafted.

Sharif Finch also tallied his first sack in the NFL while Jayon Brown flashed big play potential all day long.

It takes a team effort to beat an NFL champ when they are getting back to full strength and the Titans did that.

So, what do they look like nationally? Well if the scores hold this is what the standings should look like in terms of win percentage.
