Could we see an over correction for the Tennessee Titans after an overreaction?

Time for Tennessee Titans fans to take a deep breath. After getting crushed last week in power rankings, some things should be in perspective:

-The Miami Dolphins are 2-0 and don’t look like pushovers.

-The Tennessee Titans are now 1-1

-When you stack them up against last week you could argue that the Titans played better than the New England Patriots did against the same team.

So we should expect to see the Titans moving up 8, 9, or 10 spots right? I mean, when they lost even though there were a lot of questionable calls and hits vs Miami, everyone was ready to bury Tennessee.

Well, like I said I don’t read the NFL power rankings ahead of time, I wait until as I am writing this so that I can react in real time. However, based off of everything I know from the national media, this will be explained away as a fluke instead of good coaching.

With scores in the low to mid 20s across the board, lets go ahead and dive into where ESPN, CBS, NFL.com and Bleacher Report have the Titans ranked.

I have CBS sports in there because I like the way that they give explanations for their rankings and it is clearly one person’s opinion of a team. Right, wrong or otherwise it is good to have an explanation of why a team is being ranked so low.

Alright, so here we go starting with ESPN.
