"“Before you freak out over the free-fall and slander my good name, Titans fans, consider the situation. Marcus Mariota is banged up. As are BOTH of his tackles. Then you have the best player on the entire offense out for the season. Delanie Walker is one of those All-Pro-caliber players who never gets the accolades but balls out each and every week. Still believe in this Tennessee defense, which was fantastic on third down and forced turnovers. The D just didn’t get much help from the Titans‘ offense, other than one big run by Dion Lewis and a 31-yard reception from Luke Stocker.”"

See, I can argue with this but I respect Elliot Harrison for taking the time to give an explanation of this thoughts because he has a bunch of good points.

First and foremost, the Titans are having health concerns at the three most important positions on the offense (QB and both OTs) and they are missing their best offensive player. That is a huge concern and one that needs to be talked about if you are going to rank them low.

More from Titan Sized

Now, my counterpoint would be that Jack Conklin should be ready soon and Dennis Kelly did a nice job on Sunday. If Taylor Lewan can come back with no ill effects from that dirty hit from Andre Branch, then that will go a long way in helping the Titans.

Another thing I will say is with Delanie Walker out, there should be more opportunity for the Titans to use more receivers and to use Dion Lewis as the check down if nothing is open.

Walker was a huge part of this offense simply because he is better than everyone else. However, I can see putting 3 or 4 WRs on the field and having the 5th best coverage player covering Dion Lewis. If the Titans can get that matchup then they would take it every day.

Hopefully the Titans take this as an opportunity to open things up and give Taywan Taylor a chance to have a bigger role in this offense.
