Who to watch in the 2nd half of the Tennessee Titans vs Green Bay Packers.
Everyone is excited about the Tennessee Titans first preseason game, which is awesome. However, that same excitement will probably disappear once the 3rd string comes in on both sides of the ball.
When people have to start checking out the online roster to see who number 61 is (it is Corey Levin) people start to tune out.
So, to make it easier, these are the 5 players (including their numbers) that you should watch in the 2nd half of the Titans game.

Luke Falk QB, #11
Falk is the guy you hope wins the backup QB job a year or two from now once Blaine Gabbert is going to hit free agency again. So his journey with the Titans is going to be a long one if he can stick on the roster.
The reason why you should watch him is because his best practice was the Friday night scrimmage which featured a lot of “live action”. If that correlates to the preseason and he is a gamer QB, then he could be exciting to watch dissect bad defensive players as the clock winds down on Thursday night.
His ability might lead to some great plays by boarderline WRs, and while I don’t expect him to be a star or anything he may help uncover someone who will make the final-53 at receiver, running back or tight end.
Anthony Firkser TE #86
The Titans just released Phillip Supernaw and there could be a roster spot available for a tight end who can do a little bit of everything AND play some special teams.
Firkser has gotten rave reviews from the coaching staff who like the way he makes the most of his opportunities. Big guys with some wiggle tend to have some big plays as the games roll on and linebackers get worse and worse and make mental mistakes.

Julius Warmsley DL #72
The other player who earned first team reps because of his great work ethic, but there is a little more substance here. First, Warmsley actually worked with Tennessee Titans defensive line coach, Terrell Williams when he was in Miami last year.
The reason why Warmsley is so interesting is that he was really productive in college. He tallied 18 TFLs and 6 sacks as a senior at Tulane, which is nothing to sniff at. Time and good coaching could make him a contender for one of the Titans final roster spots.
Rico Gafford CB #40
There is one reason I want to watch Gafford: speed.
I don’t need him to be great in man coverage, what I want to see is him blitzing and affecting the run game or the QB. I also want to see him show out on special teams as both a gunner and a potential returner.

If Gafford is going to make this team it is going to have to be thanks to splash plays. If he can’t make those Thursday, it will be a hard road ahead.
Josh Carraway EDGE #44
I think the EDGE pairing break down like this:
Starters: Brian Orakpo/Derrick Morgan
1st backups: Harold Landry/Aaron Wallace
2nd backups/special teamers: Josh Carraway/Sharif Finch
With Finch likely going to miss Thursday after being a little hurt, it is up to Carraway to show that he is a cut above the other pass rushers. I think he has some ability and that he could be a contributor on the roster, but in year two of his career you want to see him think less and play more.
