What should the Tennessee Titans look for in the NFC West.

The Tennessee Titans are a team with few needs tight now, but Jon Robinson is not a GM to sit on his hands when he could be finding ways to get better.

The next 40 days are going to be boring for NFL fans around the country, but it is also a time for self evaluation in organizations.

More from Titans News

While the Tennessee Titans main goal during this period is probably going to be to work on extensions (especially Taylor Lewan’s) the past few weeks of practice is the only time that Mike Vrabel has been able to spend with this roster.

Sure, he knows 90% of what he needs to know based on film from the past few years. However, being around someone and asking them to do exactly what you want is different. Projecting someone to do something is great, but if you want a slow cornerback to play man coverage and he just can’t keep up in training camp that isn’t something that is likely to get better in a few weeks.

So, with actual first hand experience with the roster there may be some last minute notes that Vrabel has for Robinson.

It may be time for Robinson to go out and try to address depth at WR or get some players that are better fits for the scheme than what they have now. Whether he is making a list of best players possibly available or trying to attack a specific need, these are the players in the AFC that I would target.
