Tennessee Titans: Perfect example of Jon Robinson’s greatness
By Will Lomas
Jon Robinson is the team builder the Tennessee Titans needed.
This is just one article I am writing on just how great Jon Robinson is, but it is one that needed to be made because some people still don’t understand how good he has been for the Tennessee Titans.
Something I noticed is that this team looks completely different just three years into Jon Robinson’s career as a GM.

I kept trying to figure out a good way to show this, and the best way I came up with is just to put together a team of the best team the Titans could field using just players that Jon Robinson drafted, signed or traded for.
The one exception is Marcus Mariota. I will keep him on this list because it is hard to have two great QBs on a roster. The rookies are in italics.
QB: Marcus Mariota, Blaine Gabbert, Luke Falk
RB: Derrick Henry, Dion Lewis
OL: Dennis Kelly, Corey Levin, Ben Jones, Josh Kline, Jack Conklin
TE: Jonnu Smith, Luke Stocker
WR: Corey Davis, Rishard Matthews, Taywan Taylor, Tajae Sharpe
EDGE: Harold Landry, Erik Walden*

You could not tell me that the roster I just wrote out couldn’t win at least 6 wins and that is a team without 5 Pro Bowlers:
-Jurrell Casey
-Derrick Morgan
-Brian Orakpo
-Taylor Lewan
-Delanie Walker
This rookie class really rounds out the holes that the Titans had on the roster and when you look at it like that, you can really see just how many starters and impact players that he has brought in over the last three years.
If you doubt that he is a top-5 GM in the NFL, please go back and look at what the Tennessee Titans looked like before and where they are right now. This man needs to be praised more, and this is a great example to point at when people disagree.
