Who have the Tennessee Titans shown the most interest in during the predraft process?

The Tennessee Titans are still looking at some free agents, but all eyes are shifting to the 2018 NFL Draft.

One thing that gets talked about a lot is the top-30 official visits, but without context gets lost in the mix. For the Titans, these are very important.

Over the past two years, Jon Robinson has drafted 9 players in the top three rounds, of those 5 were in for top-30 official visits. So it is fair to say that these players make the shortlist of the who the Titans are most interested in.

Once you sort the players by tiers, you can figure out the 4-5 guys that the Titans want in each round and who the trade targets are. This is a huge help in figuring out who Jon Robinson is looking at.

So, here are the players that WalterFootball has posted so far:

1st round pick

Leighton Vander Esch LB, Boise State

-Star LB that would have been a top-12 pick in any other season if not for Roquan Smith’s great play and the potential of the young Tremaine Edmunds. Can do everything.

Trade down target

Justin Reid S, Stanford

-I really like Reid and think he can be a really good safety. He is smart, natural in coverage and really came on in his last year.

Josh Sweat EDGE, FSU

-I am not a huge Sweat guy, but he is an outstanding athlete who proves to be a handle for bad OTs that can’t anchor vs the bull rush.

Day 2 pick

Michael Gallup WR, Colorado State

-Outstanding production at a smaller school that feels like a Jon Robinson guy.

Day 3 pick

Andrew Brown DL, Virginia

-A bigger body, who has had some solid production over the last two years. Could get a look in the late rounds as a developmental/depth DL.

Armani Watts S, TAMU

-If you watch his highlight film you would see that Watts has the chance to be one of the best all around safeties in CFB. However, those plays don’t come as often as you want so despite a really nice season and career he will likely find himself in the 4th round or so.

Richie James WR, MTSU

-Local product who flashes at times, but he is sort of like Kendall Wright-lite.

Chris Worley LB, OSU

-The “other” Ohio State LB. Really aggressive, but I don’t really know why they need to spend time with him unless he is just a guy that Vrabel loves.

Deon Yelder TE, Western Kentucky

-A one year player who is sort of the opposite of what Robinson looks for, but he is a local guy.

Nick Stevens QB, Colorado State

-Camp arm type guy.

Let me know if there were any I missed!
