WR Jarvis Landry – Miami Dolphins

Out of this list, this candidate is probably the least-likely to sign with the Tennessee Titans. This is due to the fact that every team NFL team with cap space will try to sign him. If the Titans are serious about taking the next step as a Super Bowl contender, adding a player like Jarvis Landry would not hurt.

Landry is only 25 years old and already considered one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Even with mediocre play from QB Jay Cutler, Landry still managed over 100 receptions and nearly 1,000 receiving yards. His quickness and production could bring a new element to the Titans offense that it has not had in many years.

The addition of Landry would also greatly help WR Corey Davis. Davis has the potential to be the #1 receiver in the Titans offense one day, but he is still young and is not ready for that role. Defenses would have to worry more about covering Landry, allowing for Davis to get open more easily. An offense featuring Marcus Mariota, Delanie Walker, Derrick Henry, Davis and Landry would frighten opposing teams. Landry could thrive in the slot as Davis and Rishard Matthews play outside.

Landry won’t come cheap, but the Titans have the money to spend.

This off-season, Jon Robinson will need to find free agents that will have an immediate effect on the team’s success. As we saw with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2017, a good free agent class can drastically improve a team. The Tennessee Titans already have a good base built through the draft. Now is the time for the Titans to take the next step by being big players in free agency.
