Tennessee Titans draft profile: Ogbonnia Okoronkwo
By Will Lomas
A must watch draft prospect for the Tennessee Titans today.
Tennessee Titans fans are riding high after yet another win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. I am just as excited as you are and tonight we might even get a better look into the Titans future.
In case you don’t know, on Twitter I have been pounding the table for a player named Ogbonnia Okoronkwo.
It is a mouthful, but I promise you need to commit this name to memory because it will be one that gets a lot of attention come draft time.

There are names like Bradley Chubb, Harold Landry, Arden Key, and others get thrown around as potential first round edge rushers for the Titans. Right now I am not sure how many more players fit Tennessee as well as Okoronkwo late in the first.
Here is my quick scouting report.
Ogbonnia Okoronkwo
EDGE, Oklahoma
6’1, 240
Games Watched: Kansas, Texas, OSU, UTEP
Career stats: 35 games, 33 TFL, 20 sacks, 5 PBU, 5 FF
Pros
-Flexible and can bend an edge.
-Athletic enough to drop into coverage if you want him too.
-Complete pass rush arsenal: Spin, inside rip, outside rip, speed to power (this one could use some work).
-Can change his tempo when rushing.
Cons
-Slight frame makes him easy to move in the running game.
-Not going to be someone you want to keep contain.
-Inconsistent motor based on who he is playing. Dominated OSU/Texas but didn’t look awesome against UTEP.

What is he?
-Speed rushers are hard to find in the NFL, but if you can find them you need to use a high pick to take them because they can be absolute game wreckers. OO is one of those rare players that can change his rush to keep the OT off balance while also having an arsenal of pass rush moves that make offensive linemen unsure of what is coming next.
While he isn’t the next Von Miller, but he might end up as a Melvin Ingram-type player.
