The Tennessee Titans get veteran WR Harry Douglas back at practice.

Today the Titans finally did what I thought they would do after the bye: activated Harry Douglas from IR.

This means a couple of things, but right now it means that he gets to practice with the team full go. With the Titans dealing with a long week, he will be in on any changes that the team could make after the bad loss Thursday.

He has a three week window before the team has to make a real decision on whether he needs to be on the 53-man roster.

The question that is on my mind is, “What now?” He is practicing, is he just going to be three week insurance or is it time to start thinking about bringing him to the active roster?

Before you argue that he wouldn’t have a spot on the roster here are three players that are on the active roster who you didn’t remember were on the team until I told you: Darius Jennings, Brandon Weeden and Curtis Riley.

No offense to any of those guys, but I think we can say that the potential to have a veteran receiver that Marcus Mariota has chemistry with should impact this team more than they are currently.

So, should they activate him this week? No, probably not. However they should be looking at him down the road as a candidate to give this team some fresh legs late in the year.
