The Tennessee Titans have their quarterback again. Marcus Mariota is no longer on the injury report, but that does not change the fact that there are new faces that have emerged with injuries.

Derrick Morgan – Linebacker – Abdomen

For the first time this season, Derrick Morgan is on the injury report. That is not exciting news, but it is news. He developed an abdominal injury during Monday night’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. At this point, Morgan is a true game time decision. It would not be completely shocking if Morgan did not practice fully at all and managed to play on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. The luxury of being a veteran is that the coaching staff would be all right with Morgan playing without a full practice during the week.

DeMarco Murray – Running Back – Hamstring

The fun part about hamstring injuries is that they affect players for most of the season. Murray came up with a hamstring injury recently and it still seems to be bothering the veteran running back. It is possible Murray misses the game against Cleveland. So far, DeMarco has been able to fight through the injury to not miss a game this season. If Murray needs to miss some time, the Titans will surely use Derrick Henry as the lead back.

Delanie Walker – Tight End – Calf

Walker has had a bit of a down season in 2017. The veteran tight end has not looked like himself and that could be because of a calf injury. He has been able to practice on a limited basis this week. This is probably a pretty good sign that Walker will be able to suit up against the Browns. It would be disappointing if he can not play this weekend, but the Titans still have plenty of weapons in the passing game to choose from.

Corey Davis – Wide Receiver – Hamstring

Now we are getting to the part of the injury report where the names are all too familiar. Davis has struggled with injuries this whole season and still has no timetable for return. This injury is actually similar to the one that Odell Beckham Jr. had to start his career. If Davis can manage to put together half the rookie season that Beckham did in 2014, the Titans will be happy. The key to this is making sure that the rookie wide receiver is healthy enough to play. He will probably be available after the bye week, but even that is not guaranteed.

Johnathan Cyprien – Safety – Hamstring

Cyprien is still not practicing. This is not a good sign for the Titans safety. Just like Davis, Cyprien is a mainstay on this injury report. Hopefully, he will be back on the field after the bye week as well. This is not a guarantee with a hamstring injury. They are so unpredictable and could easily cost some players the whole season. At this point, Cyprien should be back at some point this season.
