Bringing you the best bits of news or information about the Tennessee Titans that have circulated around the internet during the week.

The Tennessee Titans are ailing right now for a variety of reasons. They recently got eviscerated by the Houston Texans and their starting quarterback is on the mend but not quite at full health at the moment. That’s the bad news. The good news is the Titans will play a Miami Dolphins team that has scored six points in their last two games.

There is plenty of news to go through from this week. Let’s get started.

Let’s talk about some of these.

First of all, we can joke all we want about Jay Cutler, but he’s probably going to throw for 300 yards and three touchdowns against the Titans on Sunday. The Titans can’t cover anyone, be it because of scheme or a lack of talent, and even the measly Dolphins offense will more than likely be able to put up points on us.

Jonnu Smith has been surprisingly very solid through four games, which is a bit uncommon for rookie tight ends, who tend to struggle early in their careers. In addition, he wears cool soccer jerseys of good soccer teams and I now love him. Once Nashville gets their two professional soccer teams, you can bet he’ll be attending a match or two.

Johnathan Cyprien doesn’t even seem close to returning. He hasn’t practiced since he got injured in Week 1 and head coach Mike Mularkey said Corey Davis is ahead of him in terms of recovery. The Titans need Cyprien back, but they also need Davis’ size and run-after-catch ability to sustain drives on offense. It looks like Davis could be back as soon as next week.

If you haven’t heard, the Titans signed Brandon Weeden to be their emergency backup in case Marcus Mariota has to miss any time. Let’s hope and pray Weeden never sees the field.
