Four Tennessee Titans players to keep an eye on in Week 2.

Week 1 didn’t go exactly the way we all wanted for the Tennessee Titans, but it is time to move on and look forward to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The scariest thing about the Jags is their defense. In Week 1, they sacked Tom Savage and Deshaun Watson ten times. Defensive tackle Calais Campbell had four of those sacks and that will bring us to our first player/unit to watch this week.

Interior Offensive Line

Marcus Mariota was only sacked one time on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders, but there were many times when he was under pressure or hit.

The Jaguars are going to bring a lot more pressure and could have one of the best defensive tackle duos in Campbell and Malik Jackson. The Titans are going to need a huge effort from Josh Kline, Ben Jones, and Quinton Spain to make sure Mariota stays upright.

Da’Norris Searcy

Johnathan Cyprien injured his hamstring against the Raiders and will now miss at least a few weeks. His injury will now insert Da’Norris Searcy back into the starting lineup.

Searcy will now fill Cyprien’s role and will play an important role in stopping the run. The Jags want to throw the ball as little as possible and give a ton of carries to Leonard Fournette.

LeShaun Sims

LeShaun Sims missed Week 1 due to a groin injury, but should be back against the Jaguars after practicing in full this week.

It will be interesting to see how much and where he will be playing. He was slated to start on the outside with Logan Ryan before missing last week. However, Adoree’ Jackson played well in his first ever start and he could start on the outside with Sims, while Logan Ryan plays the slot.

Corey Davis

Davis showed flashes of why he was the fifth overall pick against the Raiders, but we also saw some miscommunication between him and Mariota.

Of course, the miscommunication is in large part due to Davis missing basically all of training camp and preseason. After another week of practice, we will see if the two have developed some more chemistry and if Davis’ snaps increase.
