More from Titans All-Time Lists

For a while, Steve McNair was the face of the franchise. He was the man that brought the Titans to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history, the name the fans recognized, and most importantly the first starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans. McNair did not play his whole career in Tennessee, but those were his best seasons.

Even with the tragic end to his life and career, McNair’s legacy is still strong. In his 11 seasons McNair spent with the organization, he led the Titans to the playoffs four times. McNair threw 156 touchdowns and ran for 36 of his own. McNair was the total package as a dual threat quarterback. Since his departure for Baltimore in 2006, the Titans have had trouble replacing the production from the quarterback position. When fans think of Titans quarterbacks, McNair is the face they see.
