We have been through the NFL combine, pro-days, and teams are currently hosting private workouts. Now, the draft is right around the corner. Taking in all the information we’ve learned throughout this process, here is a round 1 mock with trades!

1. Cleveland Browns: Myles Garrett, EDGE, Texas A&M

2. San Francisco 49ers: Solomon Thomas, DL, Stanford

3. Chicago Bears: Jamal Adams, S, LSU

4. Jacksonville Jaguars: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU

5. Cleveland Browns (via TN): Mitchell Trubisky, QB, UNC

6. New Orleans Saints:  Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State

7. L.A Chargers: Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State

8. Tennessee Titans (via CAR): Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama

The first thing I noticed about Foster while watching film, was he is a field general; a real leader. The next question followed, who on the Titans defense is a real leader? I know different guys take that spot from time to time, and Kevin Byard could eventually fill that role, but currently the team lacks a face of the defense. The next thing I noticed is he reads and reacts to plays extremely quickly, sometimes would have to wonder if he was guessing on the play.

Although it doesn’t get mentioned enough, he has matched up with and done a nice job of covering tight ends and running backs in the passing game. He has the versatility to line up outside as a pass rusher as well. When you think of great inside linebackers such as Luke Kuechly, Brian Urlacher, Patrick Willis, and many others, that’s the level this guy plays on. He was ranked as the 3rd best overall player on Matt Miller’s big board, and it’s hard to find any holes in his game.

9. Cincinnati Bengals: Jonathan Allen, DL, Alabama

10. Buffalo Bills: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama

11. New York Jets: DeShaun Watson, QB, Clemson

12. Carolina Panthers (via TN, via CLE): Derek Barnett, EDGE, Tennessee

13. Arizona Cardinals: Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State

14. Philadelphia Eagles: Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford

15. Indianapolis Colts: Ryan Ramczyk, OL, Wisconsin

16. Baltimore Ravens: Mike Williams, WR, Clemson

17. Washington Redskins: Haason Reddick, LB, Temple

18. Tennessee Titans: Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan

Many are going to hate me for not taking a cornerback in the first round. But don’t worry, this class is so deep there are plenty to be had later that can contribute. Davis is exactly what the Titans are looking for in a wide receiver. When it comes to route running, he can run any route in the book you ask him to. In the blocking game, you won’t find a more physical blocker, which equals more big runs. He is a mastermind at adding yards after the catch. With his strength, speed, short area quickness, and balance, he is a big play waiting to happen.

Many have red flags on Davis because he wasn’t able to compete at the combine and his Pro Day. A lot of fans also point out the level of competition he played. While you may have a point on the latter reason, while watching the tape his talent can’t be denied.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: David Njoku, TE, University of Miami

20. Green Bay Packers (via Den): Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU

21. Detroit Lions: John Ross, WR, Washington

22. Miami Dolphins: Charles Harris, EDGE, Missouri

23. New York Giants: Garett Bolles, OL, Utah

24. Oakland Raiders: Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida

25. Houston Texans: DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame

26. Seattle Seahawks: Forrest Lamp, OL, Western Kentucky

27. Kansas City Chiefs: Jarred Davis, LB, Florida

28. Dallas Cowboys: Kevin King, CB, Washington

29. Denver Broncos (via GB): Cam Robinson, OL, Alabama

30. Pittsburgh Steelers: Obi Melifonwu, S, UCONN

31. Atlanta Falcons: Taco Charlton, EDGE, Michigan

32. New Orleans (via NE): Takkarist McKinley, EDGE, UCLA

This is round one of a three round mock draft. Stay tuned for more rounds. The draft is April 27th and then we will see how this all plays out.
