The Tennessee Titans will be on the road against the Miami Dolphins for their final preseason game tonight. With only the bottom of the roster still to be decided, here are some predictions and storylines to watch for in tonight’s matchup.

More from Titans Draft

Most rushing yards: Antonio Andrews

I believe that Andrews will be this team’s third running back, mainly because he is someone who fits with this offensive mentality. While there is nothing wrong with a speed back, it seems like that role belongs to Dexter McCluster.

I think tonight Andrews will spend his time with the 2nd best offensive linemen where as other backs like Dexter McCluster and Bishop Sankey will probably see a lot more of the 3rd stringers in front of them. So far, I trust this team’s 2nd OL over Miami’s 2nd DL.

  • Most receptions: Tre McBride

I think Justin Hunter will see the most targets, but I believe it will be McBride that actually finishes plays more often. McBride would be a perfect fit for this team in the slot behind and oft-injured Kendall Wright, and this team really doesn’t have another guy like that.

He also is a good special teams player who really showed a lot in limited reps last year. Do I think McBride is a lock for the roster? No, but I think he is probably #54 on this roster right now if the team decides they needs bodies elsewhere and a good night could move him up that list.

    TFL leader: Aaron Wallace

I think they love this guy, which was evident by how much they wanted him to get back for week 3 of the preseason. I think he will play a ton of snaps on special teams and all over the defense, and I think his speed gives him the chance to be a surprise player.

He will also see far more reps than guys like David Bass and probably even more than Kevin Dodd who I think had a good showing last week.

Player who earns a spot tonight: Kalan Reed

Reed had a nice interception last week, and they are going to put him in as a return man. In preseason games like this, Week 4 doesn’t tend to have the tightest play and that really shows up on special teams.

If Reed can make a couple of guys miss, odds are that someone will be out of their lane and he can make a cut and be gone. That type of wow play from the special teams can’t be ignored.

Also, I think he will see a lot of time at CB, hopefully in place of Antwon Blake who has looked ROUGH this preseason. If he can make some plays there and earn a spot, maybe he can pass Blake on the depth chart sooner rather than later.
