Derrick Henry, RB
Derrick is a beast of a man, standing at 6’3 and weighs 247. Demarco Murray is the foreseeable feature back, but Derrick should get plenty of work in third and short situations, goal line situations, and as a change of pace back.
Projection: 150 carries for 600 yards (4 avg), and 7 touchdowns.
Kevin Dodd, OLB
Kevin Dodd had a heck of a year last year at Clemson. Tennessee selected him with the first pick of the second round (32 overall). In the National Championship game Dodd was constantly in Alabama’s back feild. He looks to play a rotational role this year with Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan playing ahead of him.
Projection: 45 tackles, 4 sacks, 6 tackles for a loss, and two fumble recoveries.

Austin Johnson, DL
Austin Johnson was another pick in the second round of this year’s draft (43 overall). He a versatile player out of Penn State who can play any position along the defensive line. He will probably rotate in with Jurrell Casey, Daquan Jones, and Al Woods. It’s possible he even unseats Daquan as a starter at some point in the season.
Projection: 40 tackles, 2 sacks, 5 tackles for a loss, and one forced fumble
Kevin Byard, S
I think the Titans knew coming into this draft that they were going to have Kevin Byard one way or another. He comes from a small school in Middle Tennessee State University. He set a school record with 19 interceptions, and his coach from the school who knows Jon Robinson personally told him he’s never seen a DB play like this kid. He will be playing behind Rashad Johnson but I expect Dick Labeue to find ways to get him on the feild; all the reports coming from camp says he’s doing a nice job making plays on the defensive side.
Projection: 65 tackles, 3 interceptions, 10 passes defended, and 3 sacks.
