Could Norman find a home with the Tennessee Titans?
It certainly wouldn’t be a bad decision to make a move on the now unsigned free agent. Norman is without question the best defensive back currently available in the league, and the Titans are in need at this position. As the team with the fourth most cap room in the NFL, the Titans are also one of the few teams that is financially able to take on Norman as well.

USA Today backed the potential decision today with this statement:
“GM Jon Robinson only has about half the cap space of the Jaguars, a bit less than $30 million, but has already shown a willingness to make bold moves in his bid to rebuild the franchise. And with top CB Jason McCourty trying to come back from groin issues that limited him to four games in 2015, the Tennessee secondary is hardly settled.”
Last season as a Panther, Norman had a total of 4 interceptions, two of which were pick-6’s. He also racked up a total of 56 tackles with Carolina.
While there is definitely competition from teams like the Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers (who both appear to be front-runners) if the Titans can find a way to get Josh Norman to Nashville, then they could make a strong pitch for the talented cornerback.
Could we be seeing Norman in Titans blue next year? If GM Jon Robinson is willing to make this move, we can expect big things from an otherwise depleted Titans secondary next year.
