Best 2016 NFL Mock of the week for the Tennessee Titans
By Will Lomas
For Tennessee Titans fans, the time has almost come to shift the focus away from the television, and towards the computer as you look ahead to the 2016 NFL Draft.

Something I would like to do this offseason is focus on some 2016 NFL Mock Drafts and find ones that I believe properly identify where the Titans should/would go in the draft. While this sounds easy, you are actually hard pressed to find someone who has actually seen the Titans in the last five years and/or who has spend the time looking up the Titans weaknesses.
Having said that, this is my favorite mock draft of the week.
The Picks:
Round 1: Laremy Tunsil OT, Ole Miss
"“Retaining Mike Mularkey at Head Coach, a move widely reviled by fans and smirked upon by many NFL insiders, means the team is doing everything it can to augment Marcus Mariota. That means upgrading his protection here and weaponry later. Tunsil is as can’t-miss of an offensive tackle as you can find these days.”"

I agree with all of this. The Titans main focus this year should be to make Marcus Mariota as comfortable and effective as possible. Whether that means signing a big name free agent, drafting some help, or both, this is a huge issue.
Round 2: Cody Whitehair T/G/C, Kansas State
Whitehair can honestly play anywhere on the line excluding right tackle, though I have some major issues with some of his technique. Having said that, he proved at the Senior Bowl that he can even line up at center and hold his own, and with his strength and versatility he would be a great addition to the Titans and an instant starter.
Round 3: Derrick Henry RB, Alabama
The Titans will have some premium picks this year, and Jon Robinson has an incredible track record of finding value all throughout the draft. This would be a pick that I would be concerned about in the second round, but in the third round I think he is well worth the risk because he can honestly become a true full time running back for this team.

Changes
The change at running back is clear, but let’s look at what the offensive line would look like with this new team without any free agent help.
LT: Laremy Tunsil
LG: Byron Bell/Jermiah Poutasi/Quinton Spain positional battle
C: Cody Whitehair
RG: Chance Warmack
RT: Taylor Lewan
That is a lot of talent on that offensive line, and if they don’t produce this year, it is a coaching problem not a talent problem.
