Tennessee Titans: 5 Things to watch in game 2
By Les Bailey
The Tennessee Titans will face a formidible challenge on Sunday night at Nissan Stadium, and this fan for one am excited to see how Marcus Mariota can perform against a top NFL defense.
We should see more combinations with all of the receivers in camp. Second-year receiver, Justin Hunter has shown a lot of progress in camp, and has earned some praise from the head coach.
"Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said Hunter is “trending up” after practice, and said he’s proud of him. It came following a practice when Hunter made catches all over the field. Hunter went up high to haul in a throw by Mariota midway through practice, and the two connected again a drill later."
Look for the Titans fourth-round pick, Jalston Fowler to get some work this week. Although his Fullback position is becoming antiquated, he has shown coaches that he is a versatile player who can block, catch passes and if needed..run the football. Fowler has SEC pedigree, is familiar with NFL sets and will see time on special teams.
Sunday night football with the Tennessee Titans front and center…..how does it get any better!
