The Tennessee Titans have been pretty bad at selecting quarterbacks over the past decade. Whether you want to talk about Vince Young or Jake Locker, the Tennessee Titans just have not hit the mark.
More from Titans Draft
- Tennessee Titans suspiciously quiet about major draft need
- 3 needs that are being overblown by Tennessee Titans fans
- Tennessee Titans must be careful trading down in the 2023 NFL Draft
- Tennessee Titans should only spend their premium draft picks on offense
- Tennessee Titans connections may be crucial for a draft day trade
However, Marcus Mariota is one of the most hyped and well-liked quarterbacks to ever join the franchise. He has the off the field poise and maturity of Jake Locker (possibly better) with all of the athleticism of Vince Young (again maybe more). Now combine that with an accuracy that we have never seen before and you have the current Titans quarterback.
So, that is all good and well, but you play the game on the field not on paper or on websites. With that in mind, Jim Wyatt gives you an interesting comparison between the first game of all three of these quarterbacks.
Wyatt doesn’t say too much of his own opinion, and frankly he doesn’t have to, the numbers speak for themselves.
