2015 NFL Draft: PFF’s six favorite Tennessee Titans value picks
By Will Lomas
The Tennessee Titans had a very good draft this year, in fact this year’s group may have the most immediate and long-term potential of any group that I can remember. I am not the only one that thinks so either. The PFF team took a look at the all the teams in the AFC and their draft picks and UDFA signing. The PFF team actually gave out awards for players that were drafted much lower than their talent indicated they should go.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the Tennessee Titans came out with more value picks than anyone else in the division (Jacksonville Jaguars-4, Indianapolis Colts-4, Houston Texans-3). In fact, the Tennessee Titans and their six value picks were the most out of any team they have graded so far. Here are the players that made that list with a short quote from them on why the player is good. All of the quotes are from PFF writer Michael Mountlord.

Tre McBride WR, William and Mary
“Good size and speed, with the ability to run smooth routes.”
Connor Neighbors FB, LSU
“Neighbors had the second-highest blocking grade for any fullback in this year draft.“
Josue Matias G, FSU
“Matias allowed 15 total pressures last season to give him a 98.0 Pass Blocking Efficiency, which was the eighth-highest mark.”
Derek Lott DT, Tennessee Chattanooga
“This past season Lott had one of the highest grades for Defensive interior players in one game against Central Michigan.”
Lucas Vincent DT, Missouri
“Vincent had the 12th-highest run defense grade against Power 5 teams.”
All of that depth on top of an amazing rounds one and two. If the Tennessee Titans get 5-7 players that will be starters in the next two years from this draft AND four player (not even counting Cody Prewitt) from UDFA that become good role contributors, this could be a franchise changing class by the Tennessee Titans.
