Locker’s talents are well-documented since he was a top-tier prospect as a freshman at the University of Washington. For the first time in his career, Locker should have a quality offensive line that can protect him. Of course, they’ll need to show better pass-blocking skills than they did in the preseason opener.

There’s no doubt that Locker is a great athlete with strong character and work ethic. Now it’s up to him to prove that he has the decision-making ability and accuracy to make those other attributes matter. Some of his success will depend on how his offensive coordinator handles—or mishandles him.
