So this weekend is weird for Tennessee Titans fans. Despite having a lot of important things going on in the NFL this week, the Titans don’t play.

More from Titans News

With the bye week here (finally) and the team getting some much needed rest, fans can focus their attention elsewhere. This is a viewing guide for Titans fans who don’t know exactly who they should be cheering for this week.

Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings

You cheer for a good game. Nothing really important here.

Kansas City Chiefs at Atlanta Falcons

Cheer or the Falcons. The Titans have to play the Chiefs later in the year and if Atlanta can figure out a way to beat them, Terry Robiskie should have plenty of friends on that team that can give him some clues.

  • Detroit Lions at New Orleans Saints

New Orleans. The Saints have 5 wins, so another victory would likely put them too far in front for the Rams to catch them.

Los Angeles Rams at New England Patriots

Pats. Doesn’t matter who it is, always cheer against the Rams.

    Denver Broncos at Jacksonville Jaguars

Jaguars. My heart says cheer against the Jags, but they need to start winning games to put them solidly in contention for a 4-12 season where they keep a terrible head coach…again.

Houston Texans at Green Bay Packers

Packers. Titans need the Texans to lose as many as possible down the stretch.

    Philadelphia Eagles at Cincinnati Bengals

Bengals. The Bengals are one of the few teams with a worse record than the Rams, all due to that tie. If they can get (and stay) even with the Rams in the win column, the Rams pick will be better.

    Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens

A good game. The Titans have a tough shot at a wildcard spot and pretty much have to win their division, so this game probably won’t matter much.

San Francisco 49ers at Chicago Bears

Bears. The Bears have a better chance of winning enough games to move the Rams up. Also, if the 49ers win, and then beat LA later in the season (which we want) then they would lose their grip on the #2 draft pick, meaning Myles Garrett could end up in Jacksonville.

    Buffalo Bills at Oakland Raiders

Bills. You want the Raiders desperately trying to get one of the top seeds in the AFC when they play against the Colts, so giving them a loss here would give them more incentive to win vs Indy.

New York Giants at Pittsburgh Steelers

A good game. I mean, purely on principal you want every NFC team to beat every AFC team, but other than that, just hope it is fun.

    Washington Redskins at Arizona Cardinals

Arizona. Weird that the Cardinals are one of the teams in the NFL with 4 wins. Get them better so they can take care of business against LA later.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Diego Chargers

Chargers. I kinda always cheer against Jameis Winston, not because I hate him or think he is bad, just because people think that if he succeeds it means Marcus Mariota isn’t good. I don’t understand that logic, and I don’t want to hear about it. Also, the Chargers only have 5 wins.

    Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks

Panthers. I can’t believe the Panthers have the same record as the Rams, but it is true. Get them a win so the Titans don’t have to hope for tiebreakers.

Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets.

Jets. If the Jets beat the Colts, New York will move up to 4-8 and into a tie with the Rams. More importantly, it would give the Colts 7 losses on the year meaning they would almost have to win out to take the division.

So, there it is. You now have your guide on what to watch and who to cheer for this week specifically as a Titans fan .
