The Tennessee Titans will do like most Americans this week, and that is ease into the first big holiday weekend of the year, but they have one more huge piece of business before OTA’s start next Tuesday. Turns out, The Titans have signed most of their 2015 NFL Draft picks except one. Quarterback Marcus Mariota remains unsigned at this point.

Offset language could be a snag for Titans, Mariota – Mike Florio Pro Football Talk

"Before Marcus Mariota can become the Titans’ franchise quarterback, he’ll need to be officially employed by the franchise. Of the first seven picks in the 2015 draft, Mariota is the only one who remains unsigned.Per a league source, the two sides intend to start working on his contract tomorrow. The process, in theory, should be easy; the Buccaneers and quarterback Jameis Winstonhad a deal in place before the second round of the draft even began. But Winston and his agents willingly caved on the issue of offsets. Mariota may not."

Titans LT Taylor Lewan reiterates he likes Marcus Mariota just fine – Paul Kuharsky ESPN Titans Reporter

"Coach Ken Whisenhunt confirmed again that Mariota will be getting the lion’s share of reps with the first team.If Mariota shows growth while he gets them, then the potential for debate should ease.“He’s a really good guy,” Lewan said of Mariota. “Everyone wants to talk about him being like a hermit or quiet or whatever. He might be a little more soft spoken than other guys. I mean maybe compared to me, but he held a conversation just fine. He’s a great guy. I have nothing bad to say about him right now and hopefully he’s a damn good football player."

One thing you didn’t know about Tennessee Titans rookie Jalston Fowler – Will Lomas Musicc City Miracles

"When the Tennessee Titans selected Jalston Fowler as their fifth player taken in the 2015 NFL Draft, most every fan was confused. With bigger needs like edge rusher and interior lineman still needing to be addressed, taking a fullback seemed like a luxury. However, John Glennon of the Tennessean may have figured out one of the reasons why Fowler stood out so much to the Titans."

Roger Goodell, NFL have credibility, integrity issues – Dan Le Batard ESPN Insider

"Does the NFL have integrity?A stained commissioner will soon hear the appeal of a stained champion after the league hit the New England Patriots with a Lifetime Achievement Award For Cheating over a random rule none of us even knew was a rule.Never mind that “violent blood sport” and “integrity” don’t usually have any great need to coexist … unless you require corporate sponsors to believe your popular product is purer than it actually is. And never mind that the two stories that engulfed the sport before this one — Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson — left us all wondering whether we literally had to hide the women and children."
