Updated draft order keeps Titans rebuild firmly in focus for offseason

The Titans fought in the second half of the season but it came at a price.

The Tennessee Titans' 2025 season is officially over. The Titans finished with a record of 3-14 and, for most of the year, it felt as though Tennessee would potentially finish as the worst team and hold the number one pick for the second year in a row.

The Titans showed some fight in the second half of the season though and now they won't have that number one pick. That part is unfortunate, as, no, the Titans wouldn't have stayed in that spot but they could have added more draft capital by trading out of the spot.

The good news is that will Tennessee will still have a pretty high draft pick in April. Hopefully Mike Borgonzi can zero in on someone with that pick who can help get this team out of the AFC South basement and turn them into a competent squad in 2026 and beyond.

Here's what the draft order looks like now that the season is over, per Tankathon:

Titans’ late season fight changes everything about their draft position

The Titans officially will hold the fourth overall pick in April's draft after the Jets and Cardinals lost their Week 18 games. They had the same record as the teams with the top three picks but lost out on being higher up in the draft order due to strength of schedule.

Tennessee might not get the top pick in the draft or even a top-three pick but the good news is that there's plenty of talented names they can add there. They'll need to get Cam Ward some help while also continuing to build the defense.

No one expected the Titans to be competitive this year with Ward entering his rookie year but now that he has a year under his belt and Tennessee has the chance to add some help for him, this team could be a lot tougher in 2026. Let's hope they use the draft to their advantage and can build around their franchise signal caller.
