The Tennessee Titans have sat through a nauseating season, but the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is a solid consolation prize. After the New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 18 and the Titans lost to the Houston Texans, Tennessee secured the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Titans saw Will Levis prove he is nothing more than a high-end backup or spot starter this season, as his inconsistency is not a trait most franchise quarterbacks possess. Solid seasons from Tony Pollard, Calvin Ridley, and the defense were let down by uneven Qb play.

The Titans have officially earned the top pick in this draft. Who else will be picking near Tennessee as they themselves try to turn their team around?

Updated 2025 NFL Draft order after Titans secure No. 1 overall pick

1. Tennessee Titans (3-14)
2. Cleveland Browns (3-14)
3. New York Giants (3-14)
4. New England Patriots (4-13)
5. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-13)
6. New York Jets (4-12)
7. Las Vegas Raiders (4-12)
8. Carolina Panthers (5-12)
9. New Orleans Saints (5-12)
10. Chicago Bears (5-12)

The Titans will now get their pick of whomever they want in the draft. After trading away a third-round pick in this draft to acquire cornerback L'Jarius Sneed from the Kansas City Chiefs, the Titans needed to land this pick to give themselves the best chance of competing in 2025.

If they want to replace Will Levis and draft a new franchise quarterback, names like Miami's Cam Ward and Colorado's Shedeur Sanders are out there. Penn State's Drew Allar is returning to school, but some project he could work his way back into the first round if he changes his mind.

If they want to look elsewhere for a quarterback, the Titans have the ability to select two-way dynamo and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. Names like LSU OT Will Campbell and Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter are also appealing among the non-QB options.

The last time the Titans franchise had the No. 1 pick, the Houston Oilers took Earl Campbell No. 1 overall in 1978 and helped him become one of the greatest backs in NFL history. Time will tell if Ran Carthon and Brian Callahan can help their newest young star do the same in 2025.
