The Tennessee Titans are planning to make a slew of additions via undrafted free agency. After making eight selections in the 2026 NFL Draft, general manager Mike Borgonzi is reportedly making upwards of 12 signings. The Titans will confirm those moves ahead of rookie minicamp on Friday and Saturday.

The reported number of undrafted free agents the Titans are adding, paired with their draft class, was slated to put them above the 90-man roster offseason designation. That meant Borgonzi had to waive several players before officially signing any UDFAs.

The Titans announced six moves on Thursday morning. The Titans are waiving EDGE Ali Gaye, linebackers Nate Lynn and Cam Riley, nose tackle Isaiah Raikes, guard Clay Webb, and running back Blake Watson. It's full-steam ahead to rookie minicamp and a 90-man roster.

Tennessee Titans announce ruthless cuts to make room for undrafted free agents

All six players waived were with the Titans in some capacity (active roster/practice squad) during the 2025 season. The most recognizable name is pass rusher Ali Gaye. Gaye appeared in 18 games with the Titans across the previous two campaigns, recording two sacks. He's been pushed out by offseason acquisitions like Jermaine Johnson II, Jacob Martin, and Keldric Faulk.

Raikes was part of the undrafted class last offseason. Head coach Robert Saleh rarely uses a traditional nose tackle in his scheme, so Raikes was no longer a fit. Guard Clay Webb signed with the Denver Broncos in undrafted free agency last offseason, but joined the Titans' practice squad at final cuts in August. The Titans drafted two interior linemen in Fernando Carmona and Pat Coogan.

Every player waived saw an upgrade added to the roster at their respective position. Lynn and Riley (linebackers) didn't make it to training camp after Anthony Hill Jr. was drafted, and several linebackers are rumored to be joining via undrafted free agency. Watson (running back) was hurt by the addition of Nicholas Singleton.

Borgonzi and Saleh continue reshaping the roster in their vision. Every player waived ahead of rookie minicamp was originally acquired when Brian Callahan was the head coach. There's a new staff and playbook in Tennessee, and these moves get the roster closer to fulfilling Borgonzi's offseason plan.
