Whether you are a fan of the Tennessee Titans or not, no one can deny they've done a great job at revamping their coaching staff and the roster. With upgrades at head coach, the defense overall, and at wide receiver, the Titans are preparing to make some noise in 2026 despite them being 6-28 the last two seasons.

The Titans probably aren't ready to make a serious run at the Super Bowl, but they are setting themselves up to make run at the AFC South division title if things go according to plan. With Robert Saleh in charge of the defense and Brian Daboll calling the offense, the leadership is already in a better position than it was under Brian Callahan.

The additions the Titans made in free agency improved their roster, but Tennessee already had talent that has been overlooked and Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone shows it in his Top 200 player list going into the 2026 season.

Top-200 2026 player list shows Titans are building a foundation

In Scataglia’s list, there were six Titans that made the list with two of them being drafted last year, one being signed this offseason and the rest having been on the team for more than a year. Here are the players along with their rankings:

#199: QB Cam Ward

#189: WR Chimere Dike

#155: LB Cedric Gray

#152: WR Wan'Dale Robinson

#133: OL Peter Skoronski

#48: DL Jeffery Simmons

Even with some of the struggles that Ward faced last season, he still showed signs of being a franchise quarterback. However, with a new coaching staff in place, Ward is going to need to show that he can step forward in his game. The Titans have done a great job providing him with more options to work with like Wan’Dale Robinson and Carnell Tate.

As a fourth round pick last year, Dike finished with the third most receiving yards and tied for the most receiving touchdowns. With the additions of Robinson and Tate, his targets may go down a bit but he still provides great value as a security blanket if needed.

The Titans have themselves a rising star in Cedric Gray, who led the team with 164 total tackles. As one of the more under appreciated linebackers in the game, Gray is set to put people on notice for what he will be able to do in Saleh’s defense.

The Titans signed Wan’Dale Robinson who has connections with Brian Daboll from their time together with the New York Giants. Robinson won’t be the No. 1 receiver in the offense, but he can help open up the playbook and make life easier for Ward.

Peter Skoronski is one of the most underrated protectors in the NFL. There’s a reason why the Titans picked up his fifth-year option. They see a future with him and now he will be competing for a long-term contract in Nashville.

We all know that Jeffery Simmons is one of the most dominant forces in the NFL. Quite frankly, it’s too bad the Titans haven't had more success throughout his tenure. He is someone that coaches have to game plan for because he is a true game-wrecker.

Now that the Titans added more talent like Jermaine Johnson and John Franklin-Myers, it’s going to be tough to plan for Simmons as these two can cause chaos as well.
