The Tennessee Titans are spending the 2024 NFL campaign finding out whether or not Will Levis is a franchise quarterback. The early signs have been discouraging. Through four contests, Levis has thrown four touchdowns and six interceptions. Despite the Titans being on a Week 5 bye, his nine turnovers are a league-leading amount.

Levis suffered a shoulder injury in last Monday's primetime victory over the Miami Dolphins. Head coach Brian Callahan remains committed to his sophomore signal caller as his starter. Levis is expected to start Sunday's Week 6 game versus the Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee's first divisional meeting of the year, a potentially pivotal one to the direction of the season.

As we approach Week 6, 2025 NFL Mock Drafts are becoming an increasingly popular exercise. If the Titans drop to 1-4, potentially last place in the AFC South, the draft may unfortunately become a talking point sooner rather than later. One recent mock draft has the Titans replacing Levis altogether.

The Draft Network releases weekly mock drafts. In Sunday night's iteration, analyst Jaime Eisner had the Titans drafting Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 7 overall selection.

Titans select Cam Ward in 2025 NFL Mock Draft

"Will Levis may be the starting quarterback for now, but our eyes tell us that Mason Rudolph led the most effective version of the Titans' offense when he had the opportunity," Eisner wrote. "But neither one is the Titans' QB of the future. Brian Callahan is an offensive-minded coach who will have an opportunity to find "his guy" for his offense in the 2025 NFL Draft. Cam Ward is that guy. Ward has had some lows when it comes to early-game turnovers, but man does he have some moxie. He's clutch in big moments, a true leader of men in the huddle, and oozes talent. He's a great fit in Callahan's offense."

Ward led an epic comeback over the California Golden Bears this past weekend. The West Columbia, Texas native completed 35-of-53 passing attempts for 437 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in a 39-38 victory. On the season, Ward has thrown for 2,219 yards, 20 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He's firmly in the Heisman Trophy discussion.

The Titans have a sizable 13 regular-season games remaining on their schedule. All indications are that if Levis is healthy, he'll remain the starting quarterback. Levis must start proving he's Tennessee's QB of the future, or else the franchise could seriously consider drafting his replacement in April.
