The Tennessee Titans possess some clear needs to address this offseason. They're currently slated to enter free agency and the 2026 NFL Draft with massive holes at wide receiver, EDGE, and cornerback. Building a better roster for head coach Robert Saleh begins by addressing those positions.

The Titans are expected to target an EDGE or wide receiver with the fourth overall selection. Using the middle rounds to successfully address their remaining roster holes is imperative. General manager Mike Borgonzi must navigate the challenges.

Cody Williams of FanSided recently conducted a three-round 2026 NFL mock draft. Williams has the Titans drafting Miami EDGE Rueben Bain Jr. at No. 4 overall before turning his attention to the offense in the second and third rounds.

"There are going to be plenty of opportunities for the Titans to help Cam Ward this offseason," Williams wrote about the decision to utilize this selection on defense. "I don't think they can pass up someone like Rueben Bain Jr. He's the force multiplier for a defense with insane burst and the ability to live in opposing backfields."

Bain is an outstanding prospect with notable size deficiencies. The Titans will have to assess him appropriately and determine how much arm length matters to his pre-draft evaluation. On tape, Bain was among the premier defensive prospects in college football this past campaign.

At No. 35 overall, Williams has the Titans drafting Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard. That would be great news for Ward's development. Bernard is a high-IQ receiver who identifies and exploits weaknesses in coverage. He produced 64 receptions for 862 yards and seven touchdowns at Alabama in 2025.

With the 66th selection, Williams has the Titans taking Northwestern offensive tackle Caleb Tiernan. This pick is slightly more questionable, but we wouldn't rule out the Titans targeting a mid-round developmental tackle to eventually replace Dan Moore Jr. with. Tiernan is a technically polished prospect.

The Titans landed instant starters at EDGE and wide receiver in FanSided's latest three-round mock scenario. Their final pick targeted an eventual premium position of need at offensive tackle. Bain and Bernard would make huge impacts for the Titans in 2026.
